Beijing 2008 has been and gone and I for one am moarning that lack of sporting excitement on telly now. What am I supposed to watch on a night turn now??!
The excitement for 2012 surrounds how much overtime I can make out of it (shitloads) and also how on earth Britain can compete with the cultural bonanza China had to play with to show off to the world.
China - Ancient civilisation and center of cultural development for the world.
UK - We have black cabs and some red buses. Oh don't forget David Beckham!
Forget the 'Bird Nest' stadium London 2012 we will have the 'Chip Basket'.
Forget the 'National Aquatics stadium' we will have the 'AlcoPops Centre of vomiting excellence'.
Forget the 'Olympic Green' we will have 'London Rec' complete with broken swings and white dog turds.
Anything I've forgotten?!
