Aiche Argh

It would appear I have another job.. yes still policing but very much different from what I do now. I am not going into details for reasons that will become clear later.

This post is really a comment on the police 'human resources'. I think it was Terry Pratchett that said:

"The definition of evil is treating people like objects, as such human resources are the epitome of all evil".

They are also near useless at passing paperwork to other departments should you request to transfer. I had to physically hand them the paperwork and see them seal and send it to make sure they did as I asked. Should they bugger up sending any paperwork they are usually the last to apologise, if at all, and usually blame the officer for not making it clear or submitting it late!

From a recent experience from a colleague of mine apparently three weeks notice is considered beyond their capabilities.

Oddly enough I am used to getting blamed for almost everything and sometimes for near impossible tasks, so it comes quite naturally.....
